Don't screw up your nose when you read the word Budget.
We all have to start sometime, so it may as well be now.
Keep receipts for any purchases over the next month.
Surprise --this is really where your money is going.
Then list all purchases as well as electricity, taxes, GST, rent, mortgage,
gas, car registration, school fees & insurances, to name a few.
Don't forget to list gambling --poker machines, horses, lotto, smokes & drinking.
( don't put down winnings, let's face it IF YOU WIN, you usually put it back)
Now the income--Savings should be 5% of your income ( this is your starting point)
You won't like the restraints but the results will amaze you.
